A real opportunity for an ambitious FP & A Manager or Senior Business Partner to manage one qualified analyst and be the key leader for all Group activities within this listed Bank.
Reporting directly to the Head of FP & A the FP & A Manager is responsible for producing analysis / commentary, budgets, forecasts and decision support across the business. You will also help driving strategic and tactical decision making, businesses case reviews and corporate initiatives.
This is a highly commercial role, which will face-off to the senior leadership team and is ideal for an ambitious candidate looking to seriously develop their career in a business with lots of opportunity.
Key Deliverables:
Develop a detailed understanding of the core businesses within the group and key drivers of their business performance
Develop and produce 3 year strategic plans analysing key metrics and financial resources
Provide analytical review and challenge to key projects e.g. ICAAP / RRP
Prepare clear, concise and accurate management information for the Group Finance Director and Board on business performance and emerging trends
Work closely with the Investor Relations team to understand trends across the groups businesses and analyse group performance
Assist Reward in the annual compensation process analysing business performance and measuring key performance objectives for long term remuneration awards
Build strong relationships across divisional finance as well as the other key control functions in the group centre
Conduct peer analysis and review and be aware of major changes in UK financial services
Undertake detailed financial review for major strategic projects
Deliver ad hoc projects and analysis to the Group Financial Controller

Key Experience:

· Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
· Experience in a commercially focused role
