An opportunity to join a well-recognised organisation after recently completing your ACA qualification.

You will work as part of the Financial Control team who provide financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, and fixed assets to the business. You will be responsible for the management of the general ledger and your stakeholders will include the Group Financial Reporting Team, the Finance Director and External auditors.

This opportunity will need you to have ambition and drive. You will work to deadlines, have attention to detail and be inquisitive and intelligent.

The role is initially for 6 months.

Key Duties

Maintaining the general ledger
Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts
Prepare the periodic management accounts
Manage the annual statutory accounts process
Be the key point of contact for the external auditors
Quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and business plans
Provide commentary of expenditure against budgets and forecasts when required.
Business partnering including responsibility for the monitoring of spend vs budget.
Maintaining the strong internal control environment
Managing the Accounts Receivable process
You will also be identifying process improvements by regularly reviewing period close processes.
Experience
You will only be considered if you have a degree and ACA/CA/ACCA Qualification with an audit background. Ideally you will be from a Top 10 Audit firm.

Post qualification experience is desirable although not essential, you can be newly qualified.

You need excellent analytical skills and excel. Strong verbal and written communication is a must with an ability to make complex information easy to understand.
