This is an exciting opportunity to join a boutique Private Equity business that invests in really exciting, fast growing start-ups. A hands on role, where no day is the same.

The individual will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the finance function whilst providing support with elements of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll
Payables and receivables
VAT Returns for 2 companies – quarterly
Bank reconciliations
Accruals , Prepayments and Salary Journals
Intercompany invoicing – after bank reconciliations and salary journals, and
monitoring of loan balances.
Monthly management accounts
Statutory filings as necessary
HR Tasks – contract completion/amendments, plus tracking of sick leave, time
off reconciliations and updating time off on staff anniversaries, onboarding
of new employees, offboarding of old employees
requirements:

Exposure to working in a small company in a hands on role
Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
Profficient with Excel
Good team play
Good interpersonal skills
Please note, this position is offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract.
