Commercial Manager, Advertising, Central London, GBP55,000
Our client has gone through phenomenal growth in the last 6 years and is now a global powerhouse in advertising implementation. Our clients portfolio boasts instantly recognisable consumer brands, as well as some of the largest global blue chip corporations.
Whether it is developing pricing strategies for new business opportunities, or driving existing client profitability, the Commercial Team sits at the heart of everything our client does. Due to the rapid growth of the company, the team is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Senior Commercial Analyst to work on new and existing business.
You will join two existing Commercial Analysts and report to the Commercial Manager. You will be given responsibility for an area of business and be expected to own and steer the commercial agenda:
You will work closely with, and become a high-profile advisor to, client leads, department heads and senior management; confidence, articulate communication and relationship building are vitally important.
No one will set you tasks or micromanage your workload; you should be independent and able to work without direct supervision.
You will help to develop pricing strategies by finding a mutually beneficial pricing solution; commercial acumen, as much as financial know-how, is what is required.
You will write business cases, and other documents, for both internal and external clients; were not looking for Shakespeare, but you should have strong written English and an eye for presentation.
The old ways often arent the best ways, and so we want someone who can see beyond current business processes and find new ways of working; confident, pro-active problem solvers are what were looking for.
In a fast-paced, rapidly growing organisation, priorities change by the hour; the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines is invaluable.
In a complex business, with many different commercial models, the business will look to you for answers; you will need to educate others, as well as explain financial matters to your non-finance colleagues.
If this sounds like you, then in return youll gain experience that is broader and obtained faster than in any similar roles in the industry. In particular, youll get:
Early exposure to a wide range of business activities. From operations & production to finance & new business, the Commercial Team is involved in it all.
Entrepreneurial support. Have an idea, or just want to fix something? Youll have full management backing.
Access to a dynamic leadership. From the CEO, downwards, the company operates a true open door policy, with little regard for hierarchy.
Opportunities. The company is growing and changing shape every day. If you embrace it, then who knows where you could end up.
A very sociable company. Youll work hard, but youll have fun doing it.
Our key requirements for this role are:
At least 5 years experience of working in a commercial or financial role, in a competitive industry.
Professional service or consulting industry background would be beneficial.
Exhibits strong commercial awareness.
Financial modelling and budget planning experience required; pricing experience preferred.

Able to analyse large volumes of data with strong Excel skills.
