Finance Manager

Senior Finance Manager, Advertising Agency, Central London, GBP55-60,000

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join a very exciting, high growth agency based in Central London. Our client is experiencing a period of high growth across the business with new offices opening globally and the finance team growing and providing new opportunities for progression

The Role:

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

Promoting the Company Vision and standards across commercial and finance
Responsibility for the preparation of forecasting, accounting and reporting
Assisting the Finance Controller to deliver the smooth, efficient and productive running of the agency finances
Transactional Management

Manage and control the purchase & sales ledger processes across group
Prepare and process monthly payroll
Review and process monthly staff expenses
Responsible for payment run sign off, intercompany, FX and Aged Debtors
Ownership of WIP and Accrued revenue
Manage preparation of ad hoc purchase, sales, WIP and accrued reports as requested
Preparation of documentation for annual audit
Formally document all financial operational procedures
Maintain infrastructure of internal controls
Review current processes and propose changes
Manage new systems and processes implementation
Ownership of software upgrade and maintain
Coach, mentor and manage 4 junior direct reports
Management Accounts

Own the month end process ensuring all monthly accounting is completed
Review and sign off final P&L and Balance Sheet position
Prepare payroll postings and review intercompany recharges
Review of monthly flash with variance analysis explanations for submission
Commercial

Undertake client rate card reviews
Support Commercial Leads with new client transition management
Support Legal & Commercial Director with new client contract negotiation
Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the UK agency to prepare commercial proposals for new business and out of scope fee proposals
Person Specifications:

Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA
Excellent communication skills
Ability to form internal and external relationships
Ability to work in a frenetic environment
Ability to multi-task reactively
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to problem solve effectively
Advanced excel skills including v-look ups and pivot tables
